The Public Works Department administers an annual concrete improvements program to repair defective sidewalks, curbs, and gutters throughout the City. The program eliminates potential trip hazards, ensures public safety, and restores proper drainage flows diverted by the defective areas.
Two locations on this project affect pedestrians in the Downtown area and on Grand Ave. near Pacific Coast Highway:
- The curb ramps and alley entrance between 209 and 219 W. Grand Ave.
- The northwest corner of the Indiana St./E. Grand Ave. intersection
