The City receives Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the County of Los Angeles Community Development Authority (LACDA) each year to use for community development projects that meet national objectives. This year's CDBG project will remove existing curb ramps along Main Street and replace them with ADA-compliant ramps and sidewalk, to fulfill American Disability Act (ADA) requirements.

Project Schedule
CJ Concrete Construction, Inc., the project contractor, has tentatively scheduled March 16, 2026, as the first day of construction. Specific schedule dates are still to be determined.
