Michelle joins the El Segundo City Council with a commitment to representing residents' interests and strengthening the community's workforce. With over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, she brings land use expertise and a solution-focused mindset.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University, where she was a four-year member of the Varsity Women’s Swim Team. She later earned a joint Master of Business Administration and Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
In 2015, Michelle founded Marin Acquisitions, Inc., a real estate consulting and advisory firm. From 2018 to 2024, she served on the El Segundo Planning Commission, collaborating with City staff to secure a state-certified Housing Element, review major development projects, and update the Downtown and Smoky Hollow Specific Plans.
Currently, Michelle is the Western Region Managing Director at Offerd, a multifamily investment sales platform based in Austin.
Michelle and her husband, Chris, moved to El Segundo in 2011 to raise their family. They are parents of three sons, who are actively involved in the community.
Michelle began her first term on the El Segundo City Council on December 17, 2024.
