The City has been advised by Metro of upcoming major project milestones and developments that will occur along the I-105 corridor in the near future. The project will move into a new phase of construction in the Segment 1 area, Sepulveda Bl to Central Av, and begin new construction in the Segment 3 area, from I-710 to Studebaker Rd, near the I-605. See below for a brief outline of upcoming milestones and developments, which will involve extended weekend lane closures and late nighttime directional full freeway closures on weeknights.  More detailed information of these work activities will be provided soon.

Important Dates to Note

Directional Full Freeway Closures

September 11, 14, and 15: Eastbound I-105 closures over three nights between I-405 and I-110

• Friday, Sept. 11 (I-405 to Prairie Av)
  • HOV and inside lane closures begin at 9 p.m.
  • Full closure is from 12 - 5 a.m.
• Monday, Sept. 14 (Prairie Av to Crenshaw Bl)
  • HOV and inside lane closures begin at 10:30 p.m.
  • Full closure is from 1 - 5 a.m.
• Tuesday, Sept. 15 (Crenshaw Bl to I-110)
  • HOV and inside lane closures begin at 10:30 p.m.
  • Full closure is from 1 - 5 a.m.

Mid-September (Dates TBD)

• Late nighttime hours between I-710 to Studebaker Rd, near the I-605, for Segment 3 restriping of freeway lanes.

September 22 and 23: Westbound I-105 closures over two nights between Central Av and I-110

• Tuesday, Sept. 22 and Wednesday, Sept. 23 
  • HOV and inside lane closures begin at 7 p.m.
  • Full closure is from 12 - 4 a.m.

Extended Weekend Lane Closures

• September 12 and 13: Westbound I-105 between the Wilmington ramps and I-110. Visit here for more info.
• September 26 and 27: Eastbound I-105 between I-405 to Crenshaw Bl.
