Self-Guided Public Art Experience with Over 80+ Artists in 50+ Downtown Venues
and Thousands of Attendees

Art enthusiasts throughout Southern California are invited to the 11^th annual El Segundo Art Walk (ESAW) on Saturday, August 22 from 3 - 9 p.m. to celebrate art and culture in the ever-evolving Smoky Hollow and Downtown neighborhoods of El Segundo. With many of the ESAW activities taking place on Main, Richmond, and Penn streets, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and stroll the different exhibitions and pop-up galleries throughout the thriving community. 

Start your evening at the ESAW  Headquarters, located at Fire Station 1 at 314 Main Street, and pick up maps, view and purchase art from uniquely curated exhibitions featuring local artists, sample beer from El Segundo Brewing Company, and enjoy live music. ESAW Headquarters is open from 3 - 9 p.m.

ESAW is closing off a section of Richmond Street just west of Grand Avenue again this year for additional artist exhibitions, live music, and entertainment.

FEATURED ARTISTS: South Bay photographer-turned-painter Shane O’Donnell brings his passion for Americana to Neon + Rust with a showcase at WWOO Outdoor Kitchen. Local painter, designer, and cartoonist Damian Fulton will bring his live painting talents to the Richmond Street activation, and local El Segundo art collective Standard Ceramics will feature 10 ceramicists at the ESAW Headquarters on Grand Ave.  

FEATURED ACTIVATION: Dive into lowrider culture by building and designing a lowrider with artist Jacqueline Valenzuela. Vyal, presenting alongside Jacqueline, will showcase his 1976 Chevy Monte Carlo, named Tezcatlipoca. Vyal is a Los Angeles-based fine graffiti artist and muralist.

MUSIC STAGE: A portion of Richmond Street will be shut down from Grand to Franklin. This section will host live music from local artist WAIS, country musician Scott Fleetwood, and others. Local favorite Hoist The Colors will be performing at the Main and Grand Street activation.

NEW AUGMENTED REALITY: El Segundo Art Walk, the City of El Segundo, and Reality Experience Design brought together artists and technologists to create augmented reality (AR) murals and an interactive art map to unify public art in El Segundo. Launching at the 2026 Art Walk, a new AR initiative highlights the mural Flying or Falling II by John Park at the corner of Pine and Main streets.
