On Saturday June 6, from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. the following streets will be closed: Mariposa Ave frontage and surrounding intersections near 219 W Mariposa Ave (500 block of Concord St, alley between Concord and Virginia, and alley between Concord and Richmond).

The temporary closure is to accommodate event setup, the ceremony, and guest safety for the Plunge Grand Reopening. The Grand Reopening is a free, community event. All El Segundo residents are welcome to attend the opening ceremony and self-guided facility tours starting at 11 a.m.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we prepare for this exciting community milestone.

• Through traffic on Mariposa Ave near the Plunge will not be possible between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• Please plan alternate routes if you need to travel in this area Saturday morning.
• Street parking near the facility will be limited. We encourage residents to use your driveway or park on streets outside the closure zone.
• Event parking is available at Joslyn Center (339 Sheldon Street) with a free shuttle to and from the venue.
• Streets will be fully cleared and reopened by 2 p.m. We appreciate your patience during the morning hours.
