The City has been advised by Metro of upcoming weekend extended lanes closures on the I-105 due to construction work for the I-105 ExpressLanes project.

Work will take place beginning Saturday, May 16 at 7 p.m. to Sunday, May 17 at 10 p.m.

• • Two westbound lanes will be closed near the Prairie off-ramp from Saturday, May 16, at 7:00 PM to Sunday, May 17, at 10:00 PM.
  • The closure includes the center inside lanes involving the HOV lane and the #1 lane in the westbound direction.
  • The remaining travel lanes in the westbound direction will remain open, with traffic control measures in place. 
  • Advance signage will notify motorists of lane closures.
  • A Metro C Line bus bridge will operate starting Saturday, May 16, at 9:00 PM through Sunday, May 17, at 9:00 AM
  • The Project anticipates additional series of weekend extended closures in one direction of travel on an intermittent basis from spring 2026 – early 2027.
