Residential Burglary Suspect Arrested
 

On January 10, 2026, the El Segundo Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary in area of California Street and East Sycamore Avenue. The suspect forced entry into the victim’s residence and stole over $600,000 worth of property including high-end designer handbags and jewelry.

On February 25, after a thorough investigation spanning several counties and multiple jurisdictions, the suspect was taken into custody. With the assistance of San Diego PD and Glendale PD, El Segundo PD served a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the City of Temecula where they located the victim’s property. Additional property believed to be stolen valued in excess of 6 million dollars was seized, which included over 100 designer handbags (Hermès Birkin, Louis Vuitton, Chanel), 22 high-end timepieces (Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Rolex), gold coins, jewelry, 20 firearms, and over $800,000 in cash.

The suspect was charged with residential burglary, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property. He was also charged with crimes connected to other cities and multiple victims.

Detectives are actively following up on leads to locate additional victims, as it is believed this suspect is part of an organized residential burglary crew operating across multiple jurisdictions including Los Angeles and San Diego County.
