El Segundo City staff have been working with the City of Los Angeles and Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) staff to develop the “Imperial Highway Green Infrastructure Project,” a multi-benefit stormwater capture project on Imperial Highway between California Street and Vista Del Mar. The improvements include median enhancements, landscaping (including an irrigation system), signage improvements, and adding protected bike lanes along a portion of Imperial Highway between California Street and Vista Del Mar.
