Brass music from the European Renaissance is presented with authentic instruments of the period, including the cornetto, shawm, sackbut, slide trumpet, and early drums. This performance will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 19, in the Friends of the Library Room. The program is part of a series called Concerts in the Library, featuring classical and jazz programs, as well as music from different traditions.
Programs in the series will take place the third Saturday each month from January through May. All concerts are free.
