Acoustic jazz in the European style was initially pioneered by Django Reinhardt and Stephan Grapelli. Sometimes called "Gypsy Jazz," Hedgehog Swing performs a style based on American jazz but with a profound European influence. This performance will take place at 2:00pm on Saturday, November 17, in the Friends of the Library Room. The program is part of a series called Concerts in the Library, featuring classical and jazz programs, as well as music from different traditions.
Programs in the series will take place the third Saturday each month from September through December. All concerts are free.
